What's Blooming Today?
I am still working through my work in process projects. The latest being the two big square pillows in the picture. When I made the quilt, Garden Party, with Lecien's Georgia Lou fabrics, I couldn't decide which of the fabrics I wanted to use. I love all of the fabrics in the collection. The pattern called for 12 to 16 fat quarters. I think I used 18 fat quarters. After I made the quilt, I had 8 squares left and decided to make the two pillows. As you can see, I like pillows. I would like to make more of them, but they are somewhat of a challenge for me. I can't seem to get the cording around the pillow to work for me. But I think I will keep trying.
I wrote a post earlier regarding UFO's and WIP and mentioned that I was working through all of mine. It feels like being on a diet. The more I commit to working on those projects, the more I want to start a new one. It is a slow process. I'm down to 14. How many do you have?
The Quilting Garden is celebrating their one year anniversary. Each week a different category is on sale at 25% off. This week's category is Pattern and Books. We are also giving away a $25.00 gift certificate weekly. Check the website for details.
