One of my favorite things to do is appliqué. This one is called Tulips designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts. Edyta is not only very talented, but she is one of the sweetest and funniest persons to be around. I have to say be around because I haven't actually met her, but I have attended two of her Red School House sessions at Quilt Market.

Tulip is a raw edge appliqué quilt pattern. It is fun and easy to make. The finished size is 20" x 22". The Quilting Garden has the pattern and also a kit available.

The Quilting Garden also carries several of Edyta Sitar's other patterns including Daffodils, Geraniums, Harvest Pumpkin, Iris, Poinsettia, Tiger Lily and Sweet Sixteen.
