What's Blooming Today?
I have finished the quilt as you go table runner. Now let's finish yours!! After you have sewn all of the strips down, trim around all of the sides. Remember to keep in mind a 1/4" seam allowance. Make the binding of your choice. I like to cut my binding strips 2" wide. Sew the strips together to form a continuous strip. Fold the binding in half with wrong sides together and iron. Sew the binding on the front of the table runner. Fold over to the back and hand stitch.
See the pictures below. The first picture shows the front and the back of the table runner. The second picture shows the table runner on the table. I could not get a really good picture of the entire table runner because of its length - it is 16" wide and 58" long. Not only do the colors brighten up the table, they brighten up the entire room!!
And, Let Your Imagination Bloom!

Ronnie, This looks so easy and fast. I am going to make it for my daughter-in-law who has a really long table. Can hardly wait to get startedby Catherine on 15 April 2012 at 9:58 a.m.
